WebMar 9, 2024 · Depending on the TV, it may restart automatically after holding the Power button for approximately five seconds. On the TV, press and hold the Power button for about 40 seconds until the TV turns off. Unplug the power cord from the wall, press the Power button on the TV and then release it. Wait for two minutes, and then plug in the power cord. WebThe cable has not cut out for over 30 minutes so the issue appears resolved. What makes this so irritating is how frequently these issues occur. In this case, I did NOT reset my cable box like the automated system insisted I do. Clearly, this was a Comcast service issue.
